Beginning Quilting (Piecing)
Do you know someone who wants to be a quilter? Do you need to brush up on your basic skills? This 6-week class is geared to the beginner, taking the new quilter from the cutting process, sewing blocks, putting the blocks together into a quilt, layering the quilt, quilting the quilt and applying the binding. The entire process will be broken down into steps you will understand and you will gain valuable knowledge and leave with the confidence to start tackling projects on your own. Students will be using (and will need to purchase) the book Teach Me To Make My First Quilt by Pat Sloan. We carry the book in the shop, and always discount our books.
