Beginning Quilting



Do you know someone who wants to be a quilter? Do you need to brush up on your basic skills? This 5-week class is geared to the beginner, taking the new quilter from fabric selection, through the cutting process, sewing blocks, putting the blocks together into a quilt, layering the quilt, quilting the quilt and applying the binding. The entire process will be broken down into steps you will understand and you will gain valuable knowledge and leave with the confidence to start tackling projects on your own. Classes are Mondays, Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30, Oct. 7. from 2-5pm.

Materials Included: Please call the shop to sign up! See below for dates/times.
Requirements: Dates for class are Mondays, Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30, Oct. 7, from 2-5pm. Basic sewing supplies (thread, machine needles, cutting mat, rotary cutter, plus the manual for your machine, etc.). Book purchase will be required.
